Killooleet is a "traditional camp" (varied activities, full season, hikes, and overnight trips) that goes its own way. We are non-competitive and highly individual. Camper choice is central to our programming: the schedule is flexible with free time and choice periods build into the daily plan. Strong cabin groups are built through working and playing together. With about 90 campers, Killooleet is small enough so everyone comes to know each other and friendships develop between campers of different ages who share interests. Half of our activities are in sports (waterfront, archery, softball, soccer, basketball, tennis, horseback riding, ultimate frisbee, etc.) and half in arts (music, art, ceramics, silverwork, drama, video, woodworking, stained glass, fabric). Most campers bring bikes or rent them. We explore the beauty of Vermont during weekly hikes or overnight trips, on foot, bicycle, canoe, and horseback. We strive to be a community that encourages individual development, welcomes everyone, and minimizes the need to spend energy defending ourselves.

Each year we host some 5000 students from over 70 different countries. Our camp is also a fantastic tool for raising your child's environmental awareness and responsibility. We develop activities such as the study of the Ecosystem, sustainable development or tree planting. Each year we introduce new personal enrichment workshops into our programmes, some examples of which are: Leadership, Career Guidance, Mountain, Fitness and Nutrition, First Aid Training and Etiquette.
In addition, we provide our campers with a solid foundation for personal development by involving them in conferences and various team-building activities.
Safety is the most important element for the Elfes. From wake-up to bedtime, during and after activities, children are under the constant supervision of our staff to ensure maximum enjoyment in a safe environment.
At Les Elfes, we offer adventure activities based on safe and well established professional practices! In addition, we encourage children to develop personally and explore their own identity. We are pleased to see that the weeks spent on our campus help students discover their true potential, improve their self-confidence and help them identify their strengths! There is a lot that can be taught outside the classroom!
Day camps
Throughout the year, the Elfes also offer full-day camps from 8 am to 10 pm for children aged 6 to 17. Campers who are already staying in the resort or in the region are dropped off at the camp in the morning, ready to take ski/snowboard lessons (in winter) or language lessons (in summer) and participate in outdoor activities. The programme includes meals, optional afternoon activities, team games, campfires, etc.
